Cleansing – to make something or someone clean. Synonyms of cleansing include purging, disinfect, restoring, sanitize, clarify, clean, clear, restore, sterilize, scrub etc.
Newness – the quality of having been recently created or having started to exist recently. Synonyms for newness include freshness, originality, change, innovativeness etc.
2 Corinthians 5:17 – A new creation. “17 This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!
Dear Lord, I thank you for the blessing of a new day. Hallelujah!
Lord you are good, and your mercies endure forever. Thank you for the cross. Thank you for the blood of Jesus, your grace and your assuring word of life. You are the covenant keeping God, quicken us by Your spirit today.
Eternal Father, You are the Desire of nations. Create in us a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within us – Psalm 51:10. Empower us with strength and grace to seek you in spirit and in truth. For the sake of the cross, show us mercy, and honour us with answered prayers in Jesus’ name – Amen!
